Teej is a generic name for a number of Hindu festival that are celebrated by women mainly in Nepal and some parts of India. Harialika Teej welcomes the moonsoon season and is celebrated primarily by girls, with songs, dancing and prayer rituals. This festival is primarily dedicated to Goddess Parvati and her union with Lord Shiva.
     It is celebrated wearing colorful dress but maximum people wear red because red is a symbol of love.
